How to use 済む( = sumu), 済まない( = sumanai)

= Watashi no oyatsu wo tottara tada de wa sumimasen yo.

Jiro: 「早くこのレッスンを済ませて遊ぼうよ!」
= Hayaku kono ressun wo sumasete asobou yo!
= Let’s finish up this lesson and play!
How to use 知る & わかる ( = shiru & wakaru)
Snowy: 「ちょっとやせたんだけどわかる?」
= Chotto yasetan dakedo wakaru?
= I lost a little weight. Can you tell?
Zoey: 「私の好きな食べ物知ってる?」
= Watashi no sukina tabemono shitteru?
= Do you know what my favorite food is?
「にんじんだよ!」

How to use でも ( = demo)

How to use 〜か/〜かどうか ( = ~ ka/ ~ ka douka)

How to use ぶり&っぷり( = buri & ppuri)
「いい飲みっぷりだね!」
= ii nomippuri dane.
= You drink a lot!
How to use ために ( = tameni)
「美容のためにもう寝ます。」
= Biyou no tame ni mou nemasu.
= I am going to have my beauty sleep now.
How to use 次第 ( = しだい= shidai)
「着替えが終わり次第レッスンします。」
= Kigae ga owari shidai ressun shimasu.
= I will start the lesson as soon as I finish changing my outfit.
「僕のように日本語がうまくなるかどうかはみんなの努力次第です。」
= Boku no you ni nihongo ga umaku naru ka douka wa minna no doryoku shidai desu.
= Whether your Japanese gets as good as mine or not depends on your efforts.
How to use つもり ( = tsumori)
「大きくなったらライオンになるつもりです。」
= Ookiku nattara raion ni naru tsumori desu.
= I am going to be a lion when I grow up.
How to use まで ( = made)
「ここまでかわいい先生はいないでしょ。」
= Koko made kawaii sensei wa inai desho.
= I bet you can’t find this cute teacher.
