How to use 〜てみる ( = ~ te miru)
「マックス、日本語教えてみる？」
= Max Nihongo oshiete miru?
= Do you want to try teaching Japanese, Max?
「あとでね…」
= Ato de ne…
= Maybe later…
〜と & 〜ないと ( = ~ to & ~ naito) conditional
「ジャーキーくれないといたずらするよ！」
= Jaakii kurenai to itazura suruyo!
= Trick or “dog treats”!!

How to use 〜たり ( = tari ) & 〜たりして ( = tarishite)
「休日は、食べたり寝たりして過ごしています。」
= Kyuujitsu wa tabetari netari shite sugoshite imasu.
= I spend my days off eating, sleeping and etc.
V + やすい & V + にくい ( = V + yasui & V + nikui)
「これお箸では食べにくいよ！」
= Kore ohashi de wa tabenikui yo!
= It is hard to eat this with chopsticks.
〜ながら ( = nagara)
「ねえ、見て！マギー先生、寝ながら仕事をしているよ。」
= Nee mite! Maggie Sensei nenagara shigoto wo shiteiruyo.
= Hey, look! Maggie Sensei is working while sleeping!
〜たい ＆ がる ( = ~ tai & garu) and 〜がり ( = ~gari)
「寒っ！！」
= Samu!!
= Coooold!!
「早くストーブにあたりたい…」
= Hayaku sutoubu ni ataritai…
= I want to get in front of the heater asap.
How to use はず ( = hazu)
「今年の秋までにはカレができるはずだったのに…」

How to use のに ( = noni)
「犬なのにヴィトンが欲しいの？」
= Inu nanoni Viton ga hoshii no?
= Even though you are a dog, you want a Louis Vuitton (bag)?
「同じ女子なのに私の気持がわからないの？」
= Onaji joshi nanoni watashi no kimochi ga wakaranai no?
